At Creative Health & Spine, We work with you one-on-one, helping you to develop and maintain your active lifestyle while reaching your personal wellness or sports performance goals. Together, we will determine your personalized treatment plan to reach fast, lasting pain relief and injury rehabilitation.

We utilize chiropractic techniques to mobilize the bones/joints of the spine. Equally important as the spine, are the joints that make up the knee, ankle, elbow, shoulder; we adjust these joints when indicated. It is imperative that muscles are responding appropriately allowing the joints to move accordingly. We utilize soft tissue techniques to inhibit overactive muscles and corrective exercises to activate muscles. This means you get better faster!

Soft tissue therapies may include trigger point therapy, pin and release or positional release, myofascial release as well as work to break up scar tissue and adhesions.

In addition to injury care, we offer sports performance enhancement services. We will evaluate your body’s kinetic chain, the “whole machine,” by assessing posture, functional movement and proprioception (your body’s ability to sense its environment and determine an effective response). If one part of the machine is weak or “off,” the entire body will not be able to perform at an optimal level. We want you firing on all cylinders and back to your optimal performance level.

Recovering from an illness or injury can be lengthy and hard, but a focused rehabilitation program helps to ensure the patient and family stay on the correct path. We can address the cause of the dysfunction to help your body heal and further prevent an injury from reoccurring. We provide a specialized program to meet each patient’s goals and ensure a proper and speedy recovery. Our approach combines Rehabilitative exercises and Chiropractic treatment, allowing us to change how your body fundamentally works.

Massage Therapy

Corrective massage therapy addresses a variety of health conditions, the most prevalent being stress-related tension, which, experts believe, accounts for 80%-90% of disease. Massage has been proven beneficial in treating cancer-related fatigue, sleep disorders, high blood pressure, diabetes, low back pain, immunity suppression, spinal cord injury, autism, post-operative surgery, age-related disorders, infertility, eating disorders, smoking cessation, and depression, to name just a few. Massage has many physiological effects, such as:

  • Increased circulation to all areas of the body. This means that more oxygen goes to the tissues, enabling them to function more efficiently.
  • Removal of toxins and waste products that build up in the tissues.
  • Reduction in recovery time from certain injuries.
  • Softening of the connective tissue that permeates the body, resulting in more relaxed muscles and more efficient organ function.
  • Breaking of the pain-tension cycle, which helps prevent muscle strains and aches.
  • Increased flexibility and joint mobility.
  • Better muscular balance throughout the body, resulting in effective support for other healing modalities, such as chiropractic.
